About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Financial Controls: Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring that all financial documentation is accurate and complete.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and driving efficiencies across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial controls and compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
