Job Duties:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of SEN students.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social interaction and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with other staff members and parents to ensure the best possible support for students with SEN.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SENCO qualification.
  • First Aid training.
Working Conditions:
  • Working hours may vary, but typically follow the school day.
  • Work may involve physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility.
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents.
