Therapist Job Opportunity at Young Futures

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part Time Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, flexible, and fun professional to provide 1:1 therapy to children and young people in care aged 13 to 19 years old.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-years' work experience along with an outstanding track record in making a difference to the lives of children and young people. They will possess a deep understanding of how previous experiences and present emotions can be communicated through behaviour and have the competence and skills to interpret these, and to help young people do the same.

A typical working day will include up to 4 x 1:1 therapy sessions, attending key meetings with the network, and internal meetings around care and safety planning. The successful candidate will be expected to support the development of critical social and emotional skills to help emotional regulation, improve social skills, and deal with here-and-now issues.

The salary for this position is £45,000 per year (pro-rata), which includes pension, travel to work expenses, external clinical supervision, and wellbeing budget. We are committed to embedding inclusive practices, promoting equality, and valuing diversity in all of our activities.
