About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Health Promotion Coordinator - Aboriginal Focus. As a key member of our Public Health - Health Promotion team, you will play a critical role in promoting and improving the health of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate health promotion interventions with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal populations to prevent chronic disease.
  • Determine strategic priorities for health promotion within our catchment area and collaborate with stakeholders to implement agreed programs.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on activities and outcomes, ensuring intersectoral support for health promotion initiatives.
  • Consult with government departments, non-government organizations, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and the community to ensure effective collaboration and support.
