A mainstream junior primary school in Carshalton Beeches seeks a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Primary School Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 pupils, following the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported in their learning.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to support student progress and well-being.
  • Assess and track student development, providing feedback and interventions where necessary.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, ensuring the school maintains its Good rating from Ofsted.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within the UK, particularly in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
