Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Trainer and Assessor to join our team at Colchester Institute. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our students in the hospitality industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Front of House qualification and Assessors award, with current experience of working in the hospitality industry and training and assessing students within the industry. You will be responsible for training and assessing candidates in our restaurant and reception area, to industry and awarding body standards on our hospitality courses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to students in the hospitality industry
  • Develop and maintain industry links to ensure the relevance and quality of our hospitality courses
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in the hospitality industry
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Level 3 Front of House qualification and Assessors award
  • Current experience of working in the hospitality industry
  • Experience of training and assessing students within the industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
