Supported Housing Officer

We are seeking an experienced Supported Housing Officer to join our team at AWD online. This role involves providing high-quality support to residents, addressing their complex needs, and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with residents to develop personalized support plans, addressing their unique needs and goals
  • Conduct regular checks on properties to ensure they meet health and safety standards, making recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with support workers to provide holistic support to residents, addressing their complex needs and promoting positive outcomes
  • Address any breaches of occupancy agreements by taking appropriate steps, including issuing notices and coordinating with legal teams if necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all agreements, renewals, and terminations for compliance and reference purposes
  • Respond promptly to ASB incidents, issuing notices when necessary and ensuring actions comply with legal and organisational protocols
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in supported housing or a related field, preferably with knowledge of housing legislation and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and protocols for addressing abandoned units
  • Proficient in financial management, including rent collection, account management, and budgeting
  • Able to maintain accurate records and reports, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with needs-based assessments and referrals, ideally in a supported or transitional housing context
Salary and Benefits:
