Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Hickory's Smokehouse. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our BBQ expertise and meet customer expectations
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef Manager in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
