Specialist Nurse for Looked After Children

We are seeking an experienced SCPHN HV / SN to join our expanding nursing team for Looked After Children within Leeds Community Health Trust. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and monitoring the delivery and healthcare of looked after children and young people, age 0-17. This role requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a keen desire to improve outcomes for looked after children and their families.

Main Responsibilities

The role holder will work with some of the city's most deprived children and young people, demonstrating an understanding of the challenges this brings to practice. Multi-agency and professional working is essential, requiring excellent organizational and planning skills. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years post-registration experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the field of looked after children and safeguarding.
