Job Title: Agile Operations Analyst

Smart DCC is seeking an experienced Agile Operations Analyst to join our team in Manchester Hub. As an Agile Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Migration Control Centre (MCC) projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers and end-consumers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Provide support to MCC projects using ITIL and project management techniques, with a focus on technical and commercial understanding.
  • Service Level: Oversee the management of complex projects to agreed performance targets and timescales, ensuring compliance with industry, government, and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Generate datasets for analysis and extrapolation of demand, providing a single set of demand and usage figures for project infrastructure components and services.
  • Audit: Conduct assurance activities to validate inputs used for project delivery, using historic submissions and outcomes to ensure expected results.
  • Future-Proofing: Define and develop high-level solution requirements to future changes and improvements to service design for MCC projects.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in MCC projects from design through to project delivery.
  • Data-Driven Investigations: Conduct data-driven investigations to identify data errors and collaborate with key stakeholders to rectify industry data.
  • Change Management: Review and approve all changes affecting MCC projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Mitigation Planning: Develop and maintain mitigation plans for issues and defects affecting MCC projects.
  • Project Performance: Create and implement plans to enhance project performance and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Risk Management: Take ownership of identifying operational risks and ensure comprehensive mitigation measures are in place.
  • ITIL and Programme/Project Management: Possess practical working knowledge of the ITIL framework and its applications, as well as Programme/Project management methodologies.
  • Microsoft Applications: Proficiency in using Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerBI.
  • Problem Management: Work alongside Problem management to oversee the resolution of problems, including triage, management, resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Involvement in and delivery of continuous improvement projects.
  • Conflict Resolution: Demonstrate exceptional organisational planning skills and conflict resolution abilities, balancing conflicting stakeholder needs to achieve the best outcome for the business.

Requirements:

  • Practical working knowledge of Programme/Project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerBI.
