About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller or Turner Programmer to join our team in Oldham. As a CNC Miller or Turner Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3-axis with rotary table & 5-axis Milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
  • Working with a range of machines, including Soraluce floor borers, Doosan Horizontal borers, Elgamill, Mazak, and Hartford VMC
  • Carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC programming and operation
  • 3 & 5-axis programming experience
  • Proficiency in Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain programming languages
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Responsible for quality and enthusiasm to produce the best possible quality
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours as overtime may be required
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
