Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Officer (Salary: £60,000 - £80,000)
About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across various markets, particularly in the UK, US, Australia, and EU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with consultants and third parties to manage ongoing compliance and registration in international territories.
- Investigate requirements in potential new markets and provide pragmatic and commercial regulatory advice.
- Conduct cosmetovigilance assessments, help manage related audits, and complaints relating to product conformity.
- Present compliance strategies related to 'grey areas' of regulation.
- Advise marketing on claims acceptability and contribute to artwork approval.
Requirements: We're looking for someone with significant experience in a similar role, preferably with international product registration process knowledge. A good understanding of EU and International Cosmetic regulations is essential, particularly in the US, Australia, and Health Canada.
The ideal candidate should have a university degree in cosmetic science, chemical engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a similar field. They should also be passionate about the industry and understand the importance of delivering results on time and accurately to customers and working to internal deadlines.
