Job Description: Account Manager for Materials Industry

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Anderson Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients within the materials industry, driving sales growth and building strong relationships.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke products for the materials industry. They are looking for a skilled Account Manager to join their team and drive sales growth through proactive relationship management.

Salary:

The salary for this role is competitive and negotiable, with a basic salary of £40-50k and a bonus of up to £10k.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurturing existing relationships with key customers in the materials industry
  • Visiting customer sites to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Communicating project timelines and technical requirements to the wider team and engineers
  • Maximising company profit through proactive relationship management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the materials or science industry
  • Ability to understand technical information and communicate effectively with customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel to customer sites
