Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Social Worker to join our team as a Group Manager in Children's Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality social work services to children and their families.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Social Workers, Family Support Workers, and ensuring that high standards are met in delivering a social work service to children and their families. You will also be part of a larger management team, working collaboratively to drive improvements and innovations in our service.

About the Role
  • You will have previous experience as an Assistant Team Manager in Children's Social Care, with a proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate staff and communicate your passion for achieving the best possible outcomes for children.
  • You will be highly skilled and experienced in budget management, with a strong understanding of financial planning and resource allocation.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Excellent training and development opportunities, including access to a comprehensive range of training programs and professional supervision.
  • A generous annual leave entitlement, including Bank Holidays (28 to 33 days per annum).
