About the Role
Merrifield Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Charities Fundraising Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to secure income for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new funding opportunities from trusts and foundations, leveraging your expertise in the sector to secure income.
- Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, building relationships and securing income through effective communications and applications.
- Support the development of fundraising strategies and plans, working closely with our clients to achieve their goals.
- Manage data and administration processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and stewardship of relationships with funders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in fundraising, ensuring our clients remain competitive and innovative in the sector.
Requirements
- Proven experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, with a strong understanding of the sector and its trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with funders and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data and administration processes.
- Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising legislation, with the ability to ensure compliance and best practice.
