About the Role

We are seeking a Principal UX Designer to join our Growth Design team at Amazon Prime Video. This role will be responsible for defining, articulating, and championing the future vision for how our customers rent, buy, and subscribe to the best local content in their country.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design Visionary: Define the overall design vision for innovative signup, engagement, and retention experiences across Prime Video's premium marketplace.
  2. Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor other designers and be a bar-raiser for quality of work.
  3. Design Systems and Visual Languages: Work across design verticals to standardize and educate others on design systems and visual languages.
  4. Customer Problem-Solving: Analyze customer problems and oversee the design of delightful solutions that meet measurable business goals.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product and business partners to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define and design experiences that deliver on those shared objectives.
  6. Presentation and Feedback: Present design work to partners and executive leadership for review, feedback, and sign-off.
  7. Success Measurement: Measure the success and effectiveness of UX innovations.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of design experience, experience leading design projects from strategy through execution, proficient with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data, have an available online portfolio.

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience.
