We are looking for an experienced Applied Scientist to join our Prime Video Sports team in Israel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge products that personalize the customer experience and provide real-time insights using Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML).

Job Description

As an Applied Scientist, you will lead the development of new algorithms and end-to-end solutions, collaborating with a team of applied scientists and software development engineers. You will also drive publications of original work in top-tier conferences in Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing new algorithms and solutions using CV and ML techniques
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deploy production-grade deep learning models
  • Driving publications of original research in top-tier conferences
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
  • Excellent coding and design skills, with proficiency in C/C++, Java, or Python
  • Strong CS fundamentals in data structures, problem solving, algorithm design, and complexity analysis

The ideal candidate will have significant peer-reviewed scientific contributions in premier journals and conferences, as well as experience in building production-grade deep learning models for computer vision, recommendation systems, or related fields.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this role is $$$110,000-$140,000 based on location and experience.
