About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Design Engineer to join our UK RF Design Centre in Maidstone, Kent or Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative architectures and circuits for 5G mmWave ICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specification, architecture design, circuit design, implementation, and verification of complete sub-systems for 5G mmWave ICs
  • Developing leading-edge architectures and circuits with excellent performance and results on first silicon
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest RF system analysis and specification tools and technologies
Requirements
  • Masters' graduate or PhD in a closely related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industrial experience
  • Excellent knowledge of RF system analysis and specification
  • Experience with 5D and 3D EM simulation tools
  • Experience with design in advanced CMOS technologies (28nm or below)
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment
  • Good understanding of RF performance requirements for cellular systems
  • Experience with mmWave IC testing
  • Competent in data analysis using Matlab and/or Python
