Property Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
As a Property Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our property maintenance team, ensuring that all repair and maintenance work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and tradespeople, ensuring high-quality work and timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure the team follows health and safety protocols.
- Inspect properties to identify issues and ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any maintenance problems that arise, acting as the first point of contact for clients and team members.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding job progress, updates, and any issues that need attention.
- Liaise with clients, providing updates on ongoing projects and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Manage resources effectively, including ordering supplies and coordinating with third-party contractors when necessary.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, including work orders, reports, and timesheets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within property maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of various property maintenance trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and interact professionally with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
