Project Budget Specialist

In this exciting role as a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and overseeing the procurement process to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality social housing projects that meet the needs of our clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget, which requires strong organizational and communication skills.
As a Quantity Surveyor at Footprint, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from concept design to completion. You will be expected to provide detailed cost estimates, manage project budgets, and oversee the procurement process to ensure that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing accurate cost estimates for new build social housing projects
• Managing project budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
• Overseeing the procurement process to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor. You should have excellent cost estimation skills and knowledge of construction industry standards, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
