Job Title: E-Discovery Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced E-Discovery Project Manager to join our legal technology team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of eDiscovery engagements and ensuring the quality and timeliness of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the full life cycle of projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring proper quality assurance and timely completion.
  2. Build relationships with clients, learn their technical specifications, and advise on best practices when appropriate.
  3. Identify potential project problem areas and resolve them before and as they arise.
  4. Communicate with clients and proactively offer solutions to improve their workflow.
  5. Monitor multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
  6. Execute document disclosures with Relativity and LAW, and design custom event handlers and Relativity Scripts to improve workflow.
  7. Work closely with production staff to ensure proper allocation of resources based on client deadlines and priorities.
  8. Develop and utilize strong analytical skills to research potential solutions and determine the appropriate course of action.
  9. Ensure jobs are completed according to client and industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are met.
  10. Assist in closing new business by attending client meetings with sales teams.
  11. Perform other special projects or duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree (2.1) or relevant experience.
  2. Experience with Relativity is a must.
  3. Minimum 2 years of eDiscovery project management experience required.
  4. Working knowledge of operations, including processing, imaging, printing, and coding.
  5. Deep experience with Analytics, including a minimum of 4 TAR projects and threading expertise.
  6. Above-average knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  7. Strong customer service skills.
  8. Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, concise ways.
  9. A high-level problem solver.

Desired Skills:

  1. Knowledge of SQL and/or Visual Basic.
  2. RCA certification/Analytics certification.
  3. Fluency in a second language.
