Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank. This is a challenging opportunity for someone with a passion for control system design and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop PLC software for major manufacturers (Rockwell, GE, Siemens)
  • Implement SCADA systems (Wonderware, Siemens, Rockwell, GE)
  • Design Functional Safety systems (IEC 61508/61511)
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Create high-quality Test & Functional Design Specifications
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in control system design and development
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell, GE, Siemens)
  • Experience with SCADA systems (Wonderware, Siemens, Rockwell, GE)
  • Familiarity with Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508/61511)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from a generous pension scheme, life insurance, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Working Arrangements:

This role is based in South Yorkshire, with an 80/20 office-site split.
