About the Role:

  • Analysis and modeling of financial performance and past and future projections for acquisition targets.
  • Overall responsibility for delivery of standalone sections of financial due diligence reporting directly to Senior Consultants or Directors / MDs.
  • Creation, manipulation, and analysis of diverse data sets to be incorporated into your databook.
  • Drafting of report sections relevant to your areas of analysis.
  • Business development including preparation of pipeline, pitch, and asset discussion documents.
  • Effective communication with peers and senior members of the team and clients.
  • Proactive development of internal and external relationships.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Ability to work in a meritocratic structure recognizing and rewarding individual contribution.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and manipulation/analysis of diverse data sets.
  • Self-starter and inquisitive.
  • Team player.
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Additional foreign language desirable (ideally French, German, Spanish, or another European language).
  • Preferred prior relevant transaction services or restructuring experience either with corporates, private equity, or creditors/banks.
  • Knowledge of financial statements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a numeric subject.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around £60,000 - £80,000 based on industry standards and location.
