Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front of House Manager in the organization and supervision of all catering services, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to our customers.
- Support the successful delivery of food and beverage operations, maintaining all food hygiene standards and ensuring all dietary requirements and allergens are correctly implemented.
- Ensure that service standards meet or exceed customer expectations, making suggestions to develop service standards to meet the changing needs of our customers.
- Organize and direct each meal period, assigning staff according to service level needs, and ensuring that all service areas are clean and tidy.
- Consistently monitor, anticipate, and react to customer needs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all events.
- Drive the College van to support events taking place away from the main College site, if authorized.
- In the absence of the Manager, check and respond to all emails regarding Hall catering services, prepare rota in consultation with the Catering Administrator, and carry out regular monthly stock audits.
- Submit accurate time sheets and records of hours worked by all Hall staff, and prepare staff wage sheets in conjunction with the Manager/Catering Administrator for weekly sign-off by the Head Catering Services Manager.
- Liaise with the Financial Controller regarding format and content of financial reporting for the Finance team.
