Street Lighting Installation Operative

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Street Lighting division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking electric street lighting installations across high-profile projects in Central London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Interpret scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling to deliver accurate results.
  • Ensure all site works are executed in a time and cost-efficient manner, with regular liaison with the supervisor.
  • Maintain plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme, and ensure all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Street Lighting industry, with competence in CAT scanning, excavations, and reinstatements.
  • NRSWA Units 1 to 9 as a minimum.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
