Street Lighting Installation Operative

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Street Lighting division in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking electric street lighting installations on high-profile projects across the city.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Interpret scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling to deliver accurate and efficient installations.
  • Maintain plant, vehicle, and materials record sheets to support the works programme and ensure all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to execute site works in a time and cost-efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the Street Lighting industry, with a strong understanding of electrical installations and maintenance.
  • NRSWA Units 1-9 certification and experience in excavations and reinstatements.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to other FM Conway and customer locations.
