The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Analyst to join our UK Retail Business team. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the Commercial P&L, which drives performance of our retail business through investigation, analysis, and the implementation of accurate forecast models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute the UK Retail P&L, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Understand key drivers of revenue and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Produce reporting for senior stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Build forecasting models on performance and future value, ensuring accurate predictions and informed decision-making
  • Analyse market share and areas of over/under performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Support the business for all relevant sales and profitability metrics, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Numerical degree in maths, statistics, economics, accounting, or a business-related discipline
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Experience of working within a commercial, analytical, or accounting function
  • Highly numerate/analytical mindset, with the ability to manage complex data sets and provide actionable insights
  • Confidence to challenge and offer recommendations, with a logical and can-do attitude
