About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Paediatrician to join our team as an Associate Specialist Community Paediatrician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service, providing high-quality care to children with neurological and developmental issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the medical care within the MDT, working in partnership with other professionals to improve the patient experience.
  • Assess children with developmental delay and disability, working within the Violet pathway.
  • Contribute to holistic multidisciplinary and multiagency management plans, providing medical advice as part of the EHC assessment process.
  • Work with clinical colleagues, medical secretaries, administrators, and managers, taking an active role in training and development.
  • Provide, receive, and organise information, liaising with other teams, internal and external agencies.
  • Lead on service planning and development, jointly with the wider team.

Requirements

  • Full GMC qualifications.
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working in a community setting.
  • Experience in other areas of child health.
