About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Design Engineer to join our Systems Development team at Arm Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex SoC designs for various application segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop micro-architecture specifications for compute subsystems
  • Develop RTL code using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Run various design checks and collaborate with the verification team to review test plans
  • Work with the implementation team to optimize designs and guide junior team members
Requirements
  • Proven experience in RTL design for complex SoC development
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and systems, with practical experience in processor-based system designs
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting languages (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python)
  • Technical team leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures
  • Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet, etc.
  • High-level programming experience in C/C++ and/or assembly language
  • Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures
