Maintenance and Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our team at AWE. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that maximize productivity, reliability, innovation, and quality to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies to optimize asset performance and reduce downtime
  • Lead/participate in failure mode effects analysis and root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements across the function and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency
  • Expand own engineering skills and experience relevant to the engineering domain
  • Use KPIs to ensure work remains on track and performance is measured

Requirements:

  • A recognized Engineering-related qualification (NVQ level 4/HNC ideal) and a strong maintenance engineering background
  • The ability to solve a range of technical problems and make necessary decisions to rectify
  • Ability to communicate and present reports with others on technical requirements and modifications
  • Knowledge and experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be highly beneficial
