About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to join our team in Dartford, Kent. This is a full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Delivery & Change, ensuring the effective delivery of transformation projects across the organisation. The estimated salary for this role is £50,160-£62,700 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project managing key transformational and continuous improvement projects in line with the company's corporate strategy, delivering against agreed deliverables to budget, time, and quality constraints.
  2. Ensuring projects are commissioned and delivered in line with the company's process for change and use agreed governance documentation.
  3. Overseeing the end-to-end delivery cycle for projects from ideation and discovery phases through to scope definition, resource planning, execution, and transfer of projects to an operational state of acceptance.
  4. Identifying and managing key project resources, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and the relevant skills needed to execute the change have been secured.
  5. Working with project sponsors to articulate clear business cases with sound financial and business impact analysis in line with our project framework.
  6. Working with project sponsors and operational leaders to create and execute benefits realisation plans, inclusive of identifying and tracking benefits.
  7. Proactively identifying, assessing, and managing project risks in line with the company's project management framework, ensuring adequate escalation and ownership of risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  8. Managing project budgets in line with our delivery framework, ensuring project costs are under control and escalation processes for financial risks are followed.
  9. Collaborating with colleagues across the business, including IT and front-line operations, to ensure current and future-state processes are clearly defined as part of the project lifecycle.
  10. In conjunction with the Communications team, developing and executing stakeholder management and communication plans to engage both colleagues and customers in key updates.
  11. Evaluating the success of deliverables and working with business owners to ensure controlled closure and transfer of projects to an operational state where the change can be sustained.
  12. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, facilitating lessons learned processes, and contributing to upskilling colleagues in change and project management principles.

Requirements:

  • Project management experience aligned to business change, business process re-engineering, and business process modelling.
  • A project management qualification (Prince 2, Agile, or PMP).
  • A track record of working with teams, prioritising workloads, and delivering to project deadlines.
