Dietary Support and Nutrition Services
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Acute and Community Nutrition Support Dietetic Team at East Sussex Healthcare Trust as a Dietetic Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our team of Dietitians and dietetic assistant practitioners to provide high-quality patient care and support, focusing on the provision of nutrition support and services to patients with a range of clinical conditions.
Your responsibilities will include working under the supervision of registered Dietitians to provide follow-up for patients referred to the Dietitian for nutritional support and other dietetic interventions, obtaining relevant information from patients, other staff and electronic notes, and advising and educating patients on foods suitable for their dietary needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to ongoing learning and professional development. The successful candidate will have a good level of general education including A levels and GCSE or equivalents, and substantial experience in health and care settings, including in the relevant field of work.
The salary for this role is £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, pro rata.
