Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at Superior Healthcare.

About the Role:

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to an individual with a spinal injury, enabling them to live independently in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support with domestic house duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany the individual to appointments and activities, including fishing and watching football
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual
  • Work collaboratively with the existing care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in a care setting
  • Ability to lift and move the individual safely, using hoists when necessary
