Randstad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our esteemed nursery team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children, including those with special requirements.
- Develop and implement creative activities that stimulate children's curiosity and love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to childcare.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition of information and to address any concerns.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education.
- Sensitivity, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of children and colleagues.
- Previous experience in childcare, preferably in an Early Years setting.
- A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
