About the Role

Randstad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our esteemed nursery team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children, including those with special requirements.
  • Develop and implement creative activities that stimulate children's curiosity and love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to childcare.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition of information and to address any concerns.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education.
  • Sensitivity, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of children and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in childcare, preferably in an Early Years setting.
  • A CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
