Business Development Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at mtc. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads and follow up on sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Cold call potential customers and build relationships to establish trust and credibility.
  • Effectively manage incoming leads to ensure timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Understand customer needs and sell products accordingly to meet their requirements.
  • Work towards weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs to achieve business objectives.
  • Arrange meetings with clients and conduct product demonstrations to showcase our offerings.
  • Follow up swiftly on sales enquiries and provide timely information to potential customers.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to develop new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Research the market to identify potential target customers and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Attend industry events to generate new business leads and establish relationships with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous new business experience, preferably from a company in the same or similar industry.
  • A proven track record of bringing in new business and a natural ability to drive sales.
  • Self-motivation with a strong desire to succeed and achieve business objectives.
  • Passion and knowledge of digital communications to effectively sell our products.
  • Exceptional written skills to respond to enquiries and provide timely information.
  • Willingness to travel to meet potential clients, with a minimum of 2-3 days per week in Dundee if based in Edinburgh.
  • Well-organized with previous experience using CRM systems to manage leads and sales opportunities.
  • Strong references and a proven track record of success in business development and sales.
