About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team and lead our staff support services in the NHS Children and Young People's Gender Service. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist Leader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining proactive staff support systems for our large multi-professional team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist leader of NHS staff support services and possess excellent management and leadership skills. They will also have the ability to provide senior leadership and clinical services within a specialist health setting.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective staff support systems for the CYP GS in the South West.
  2. Report and disseminate methods, outcomes, and learning from this service locally and nationally.
  3. Delegated management and clinical leadership duties via relevant Service Heads.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in clinical psychology/counselling psychology or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration as a practitioner psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Training in theoretical models for use in the post and management/leadership training.

Salary: £74,290 - £85,601 per annum pro rata.
