Job Overview:
A clinical psychologist position is available in a specialist deaf service supporting individuals with complex mental health needs. The role involves providing assessments, consultations, and therapy to deaf and deafblind patients, as well as contributing to service development within the trust.

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification in clinical psychology, experience working in a multidisciplinary team, and level 6 BSL skills. They will also be able to clinically supervise less experienced staff and contribute to audit, research, and policy development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and carers
  • Contribute to the effective management of patients by various teams in the area
  • Clinically supervise trainee clinical psychologists and other professionals
  • Develop and deliver training in psychological therapies for multidisciplinary staff

Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
