The Protective Care Group seeks an exceptional Child Welfare Director to join our team and take on the challenges of leading our residential care service. As a Child Welfare Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic direction to staff members.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary of up to £52,125 per annum. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in leadership and management within a residential childcare setting.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the service consistently meets regulatory standards set by Ofsted
  • Developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to support children with complex needs
  • Managing finances, resources, performance, and day-to-day activities

Requirements for the role include:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
