Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Cats Protection. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually merchandised, and maintained to a high standard
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including cash handling and petty cash
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity or not-for-profit organization
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Knowledge of retail systems and processes, including stock management and cash handling
