Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Packing Department at ALPLA UK Limited. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our packing team to ensure the smooth operation of our production line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the packing team to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Monitor and control the quality of packaging to ensure it meets customer specifications.
  • Coordinate activities between production line and packaging line to ensure all packaging lines are staffed in accordance with production lines running.
  • Monitor and record packing figures to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
  • Ensure duties and those of packers are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven team leader/supervisory experience within a production environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Recent experience within a packaging environment/fast paced production.
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal).
  • Able to demonstrate safe working practices and adhere to strict H&S requirements and regulations.
