Job Description

Job Summary

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team at GE Grid Solutions, contributing to the development of high voltage power electronics solutions. Your expertise in power electronics and high voltage engineering will be essential in delivering innovative solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high voltage power electronics systems, including IGBT and thyristor-based converters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics solutions with other engineering departments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reports, test specifications, and site pre-commissioning specifications.
  • Perform routine and type testing of high voltage power electronics components and systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of power electronics systems.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage power electronics, including IGBT and thyristor-based converters.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
