Job Overview:

ActionAid UK is seeking a Grant Acquisition Specialist to play a critical role in securing vital funding for women's empowerment initiatives.

Salary: £35,236-£36,330 (Pro Rata)

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to craft compelling donor communications, manage grants, and drive sustainable change.

  • Driving Change: Use your creative and communication skills to produce impactful materials that inspire donors, secure funding, and champion the rights of women and girls globally.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with a dynamic team and colleagues across the ActionAid Federation in over 45 countries, contributing to gender equality and social justice efforts.
  • Funding Innovation: Deliver innovative donor communications, manage strategic grants, and drive improvements in how we connect with philanthropic individuals, trusts, and private sector donors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Submitting Proposals: Craft high-quality proposals to secure funding for women's empowerment initiatives.
  • Grant Management: Manage a portfolio of restricted grants, ensuring timely reporting, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with programme staff globally to provide accurate and inspiring updates to donors.
