Senior Radiographer

The London Bridge Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging Department. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients.
- Work closely with Radiologists and Consultants to set up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways.
- Adjust and utilize the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
- Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner.
- Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits and QA.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records.

What you'll bring:
- HCPC registered.
- Degree within Radiography.
- Minimum 2 years' experience within MRI ONLY (ideally from a UK-based Hospital/Clinic).
- Knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning.
- Knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants.
- Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners.
