Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Broker to join our team at Rutherford Briant. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-value clients, securing new business wins, and driving revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients and securing new sales activity.
  • Proposal and Application Writing: Prepare and submit high-quality financial proposals and credit applications, working closely with clients to gather necessary documentation.
  • Lender Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with a panel of lenders, negotiating the best terms available and securing favorable conditions.
  • Operations and Compliance: Work closely with Operations and Completions Managers to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Market Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lenders and their specific criteria, ensuring our clients receive the best possible solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years' experience in commercial finance brokering or lending, with a strong understanding of the commercial lending market. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
