Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a leading manufacturing company. As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing machinery, and assisting with project work and refurbishments.

Responsibilities:

* Perform planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery
* Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment problems
* Assist with project work, including refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts
* Work a continental shift pattern of 4 days 6am till 6pm, followed by 4 days off, then 4 days 7am to 7pm, followed by 4 days off, then 4 nights 6pm to 6am, followed by 4 days off

Requirements:

* Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications
* Experience in a similar environment, such as industrial, production, or manufacturing
* Maintenance experience, including dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns
* Experience with belts, chains, gear boxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabricating
* Motivated and driven to succeed
* Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company
