Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Bais Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a 4 on 6 off shift. The successful candidate will maintain motors, gearboxes, shafts, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as react to breakdowns and oversee maintenance activities to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
  • React to breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance.
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure planned maintenance is applied to all equipment.
  • Maintain motors, gearboxes, shafts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Perform mechanical fault finding and replace or repair mechanical components.

Requirements:

  • An experienced Mechanical Bais Maintenance Engineer working within an FMCG environment.
  • A good understanding of maintenance engineering.
  • Qualifications: Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, city and guilds electrical.
  • Opportunity to progress into other roles within the organization.

Estimated Salary: £46,000 per annum.
