About the Role

This part-time School Catering Assistant role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with children and adults in a fast-paced school environment. As a key member of our school support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that meals are prepared and served to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, presentation and serving to students and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements
  1. Recent experience working in a similar setting is highly desirable.
  2. The ability to develop good relationships with children and adults is essential.
  3. Flexibility and willingness to travel around the local area are also necessary.

Salary and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package including free CPD and access to a pension scheme is also available.
