We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at MENTUS RECRUITMENT LTD. About the Hospital

Our hospital is a 28-bed rapid response, male acute inpatient service that provides specialized care to individuals with complex mental health needs. As a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of innovative treatment programs
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Completion of a psychiatric training program
  • Experience working in an acute inpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
