Job Title: Catering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The successful candidate will have a background in exceptional food catering services and be able to work closely with their teams to develop a great work relationship and provide excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation, organisational, and communication skills, as well as a real passion for food and service.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of catering staff to provide high-quality food and service to our clients.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all clients receive a high level of service.
  • Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
  • Stay up to date with current food trends and maintain a high level of knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards.
  • Ability to work flexibly and be part of a team that works together to achieve common goals.
