A leading organisation in Chertsey is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their finance department on a permanent basis.
The company has experienced an increase in workload, resulting in the need for additional headcount in the Credit Control team, which is set to double as the client base expands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- High-volume chasing of outstanding debt by telephone and email across multiple accounts.
- Sending copy invoices and agreeing payment dates.
- Escalating queries to relevant stakeholders.
- Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Senior Credit Controller.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A solid background in Credit Control, with an excellent track record of recovering outstanding and aged debt.
- First-rate interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A confident and assertive telephone manner with excellent spoken English.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
